Fossil-free transports 2030 – Utopia or realistically feasible?

What measures do companies and sectors take in and outside Sweden

Different modes of transportation have different conditions for reaching the goal of fossil-free transport in 2030. Monitoring possibilities, availability of reliable data, energy efficiency measures and access to biofuels differ significantly between the different modes of transport and also between countries.

The seminar will highlight practical measures, trends, different scenarios and other opportunities to reach the goal of fossil-free transport in 2030.

Areas that will be discussed are, for example:

  • How can the EU’s MRV Regulation and IMO emissions reporting system help the shipping industry to reach their goal?
  • Status and possibilities for bio-aviation fuel / other biofuels
  • How can fuel suppliers help their customers to lower their carbon footprint?

Together with customers and partners, South Pole wants to inspire companies to strive for Climate Leadership. Our guest speakers will share their experiences and discuss ways to increase your Climate Engagement.
